Pinkalicious...Reprise!!!!

We heard through the grapevine last winter that the Eau Claire Children's Theatre might bring Pinkalicious back for their 25th Anniversary season. I asked Grace if she would want to try out for it again if they brought it back and she said "...well yah!" I thought it would be fun for her to play that role again not only for herself, but for her sisters. Especially her baby sister who was the Pinkalicious mascot last time, since she tagged along for every bit of the 13 shows that they performed. But she was just a baby...only 5-6 months old. AND, Elsie loves the music and has loved it almost all her little life. She is almost 3 years old now. She would love to see her sister play Pink again. But....was Grace too old? She was 10 last time around...would her director cast her again, at the age of 13!? Well you do not have to wait as long as we did to find out the answer to that question. She got the part and will reprise the role of Pinkalicious.....reprise is fancy theatre talk for repeat! Pretty cool!

Despite warnings from her parents, Pinkalicious can't stop eating pink cupcakes.  Her indulgence lands her at the doctor's office with Pinkititis, an affliction that turns her pink from head to toe.  But when her hue goes to far, only Pinkalicious can figure out a way to get out of her pink predicament.

Grace got the child lead in Miracle on 34th Street, the Musical!!!

Well, we just found out that Grace got the child lead in Miracle on 34th Street, The Musical. If you know the classic Christmas film; Grace got the role of Susan Walker. This role was played by the child star Natalie Wood back in 1947. The show is set to run November 17th-20th at the State Theater in Eau Claire. Grace is very excited to be in the big theater this time. She is also excited to do a little more acting and be a part of a bigger production, to a whole new audience.

It will be so fun for us to see Grace up on the BIG stage!
